    xdaemon - AT&T X11 connections daemon


 Syntax

    /usr/X/lib/xdaemon


 Description

    xdaemon services the connection requests of AT&T SVR.2 X clients.  Typi-
    cally xdaemon is started by init from the script /etc/rc2.d/S50xdaemon
    when the system goes multi-user.  xdaemon creates a pseudo-tty device
    node, /dev/X/nameserver, that AT&T SVR.2 X clients open to establish con-
    nections for requesting protocol-specific connection information.
