lmc(LM) 19 June 1992 lmc(LM) Name lmc - control LAN Manager Client status. Syntax lmc [on | off | abort | stat] Description The lmc command controls the operation of the local network client. The on option enables the client for network operation, and is used by the net start command. The off option closes dormant connections and disal- lows new connections; it is used by the net stop command. This allows the operations in progress to be completed before the client is disabled. The abort option immediately terminates all existing connections and disallows any new connections; it is used by the net abort command. Use the stat option to find out whether the client is enabled.
