 Name

    devnm - identify device name

 Syntax

    /etc/devnm [ name ...]

 Description

    The devnm command identifies the special file associated with the mounted
    filesystems name.

    If name is not specified no action will be performed.

    This command is used by the /etc/bcheckrc script to construct a mount
    table entry for the root device.

 Examples

    Consider the following example:

       /etc/devnm /u

    If /dev/hd1 is mounted on /u, this produces the output:

       /dev/hd1 /u
