NFSD(NADM)

     NFSD(NADM) UNIX System V

     Name
          nfsd, biod - NFS daemons

     Syntax
          /etc/nfsd [nservers]

          /etc/biod [nservers]

     Description
nfsd starts the NFS server daemons that handle client
filesystem requests. nservers is the number of filesystem
request daemons to start. This number should be based on
the load expected on this server.

biod, run on an NFS client, starts nservers asynchronous
block I/O daemons, which do read-ahead and write-behind of
blocks from the client's buffer cache.
