     XNSTATUS.EXE(C) UNIX System V

     Name
xnstatus.exe - MS-DOS version of the network adapter status
          command.

     Syntax
          xnstatus.exe [-sa][name]

     Description
The xnstatus.exe command allows the Client Software
Developer to get status directly from the network adapter
and return information concerning adapter conditions. Much
of this information is not relevant to the typical Client
user. This utility is recommended for use in developing
network applications to check for erroneous information.
Further information on NCB error messages is available in
          the User's Guide.

     Options
          Two options are available:

-s name Returns status information for the named
local session. If no name is specified,
status information is returned for all
names on the local adapter. Session
                    information is available for local
                    sessions only.

-a name Returns adapter status information for
the network adapter that is known by
this name. If no name is specified,
status is returned for all registered
                    names on the local adapter.

If no flags are specified, then both session and adapter
status are returned for name. If name is not specified,
information is returned for all local names.

     Diagnostics
Networking disabled: Serial Number in use on another node.
