       NAME
shserv - provide the shell service as part of the login
             process

       SYNOPSIS
             shserv

       DESCRIPTION
The shserv command sets up the basic environment, changes
directories to the user's home directory, and executes the
user's shell. shserv is invoked by the port monitor (ttymon)
through an entry in the _pmtab file; see ttymon(1M) and
pmadm(1M). The home directory, shell, and environment
variables are provided to the command by the port monitor via
             a Stream module.

       FILES
             /etc/security/ia/master
             /etc/saf/ttymon[1-9]/_pmtab
