NAME
devnm - device name
SYNOPSIS
/usr/sbin/devnm [name . . .]
DESCRIPTION
The devnm command identifies the special file associated with
the mounted file system where the argument name resides. One
or more names can be specified.

/usr/lib/locale/locale/LC_MESSAGES/uxcore.abi

USAGE
The devnm command is most commonly used by the brc command to
construct a mount table entry for the root device. devnm uses
the file /etc/devnm.path to determine the device search path.
The default entries in this file are /dev/dsk and /dev/rdsk.
Examples
The command:
/usr/sbin/devnm /usr
produces:
/dev/dsk/c0b0t0d0s3 /usr
if /usr is mounted on /dev/dsk/c0b0t0d0s3.
