      TCERR
           tcerr - decipher tape errors

      SYNOPSIS
           tcerr immediate-status error-status drive-status

      DESCRIPTION
           Tcerr decodes the error status output by the kernel whenever a  tape
           error is detected.

           Tape errors prompt the kernel to type error messages on the console.
           The  error  messages convey the three status numbers associated with
           the tape error.  Tcerr may be used to determine the specific type of
           error that occurred.
