NAME

XtIsWidget − test whether a widget is a subclass of the Core widget class. 

SYNOPSIS

Boolean XtIsWidget(object)
    Widget object;

Inputs

objectSpecifies the object whose class is to be checked; may be of class Object or any subclass thereof. 

Returns

True if object is of class Core or a subclass thereof; False otherwise. 

DESCRIPTION

XtIsWidget() tests whether object is a subclass of the Core widget class.  It may be defined as a macro or a function, and is equivalent to, but may be faster than, calling XtIsSubclass() for this class.
