NAME
ncdpref - display and edit NCD terminal configuration
SYNOPSIS
rsh hostname pref [-d display] [-h host] [-p password] [-f
font] [-n name] [+-s]
lcexec pref [ option ... ]
DESCRIPTION
The ncdpref program collects and displays the user prefer-
ence configuration parameters on an NCD terminal from the
configuration daemon running inside the terminal. A Motif-
based graphical user interface allows the user to change
individual parameters. ncdpref can also read and save the
information to and from files or NVRAM.
OPTIONS
The following options can be used with ncdpref:
-d display
This option specifies the name of the X server to use.
The default is to use hostname:0.0
-h host
This option specifies the NCD Display Station to which
ncdpref should connect to collect satistics. The
default is to use the terminal on which ncdpref is run-
ning.
-p password
This option specifies a password for connecting to an
alternate NCD Display Station via the -h option. If no
password is given, ncdpref will put up a dialogue box
prompting the user to enter a password.
-f font
This option specifies the font which ncdpref should
use.
-n name
This option specifies the name under which resources
for ncdpref should be found. "ncdpref" is the default.
+-s This option indicates whether requests to the X server
should be sent synchronously for debugging, instead of
asynchronously. It should not normally be used when
running ncdpref.
X DEFAULTS
Resources are searched for under the name "ncdpref" unless
the -name option is used, class "NCDpref".

foreground (class Foreground)
specifies the color to use for the foreground of the application.
The default is "black".
background (class Background)
specifies the color to use for the background of the application.
The default is "NCDGray" ("#cccccc") for color diplays and "white"
for monochrome displays.
font (class Font)
specifies the font to use. The default is
"-adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal--*-120-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1".
Text editing fields in the interface always use the "fixed" font.
