NCDLOGOUT(1) USER COMMANDS NCDLOGOUT(1)
NAME
ncdlogout - end X session on a terminal
SYNOPSIS
rsh hostname logout
lcexec logout
DESCRIPTION
The ncdlogout program puts up a dialogue box which prompts
the user to shut down any clients running on the terminal's
X display and exit the current XDM session.
The ncdpref program can also be used to set an automatic
invocation of ncdlogout after the terminal has been idle for
a set amount of time.
BUGS
Some X client programs which run on remote hosts do not shut
down properly. They may remain running whether or not they
are still displayed on the screen. These are bugs in the
clients, not in xdm or ncdlogout.
