NAME

ntx_aml − set the VMEbus AML parameter

SYNOPSIS

ntx_aml [ −d device ]  hex_aml_value

DESCRIPTION

Ntx_aml sets the VMEbus address modifier line (AML) parameter through the loader task interface.  The AML parameter must be given as a hexadecimal number. 

OPTIONS

−dSet the MVME339 raw device file name.  This option will override the default MVME339 device name of /dev/xedt/mvme338_c0. 

EXAMPLES

The following example sets the AML to a correct value:

 ntx_aml 3D
 or
 ntx_aml 0x3D

WARNINGS

Setting the AML to an improper value can cause the Network Terminal Software to crash.
