NAME

ntx_reset − reset the MVME339 host adapter

SYNOPSIS

ntx_reset [ −d device ]

DESCRIPTION

Ntx_reset issues a hardware reset command to the MVME339 host adapter board. 

OPTIONS

−dSet the MVME339 raw device file name.  This option will override the default MVME339 device name of /dev/xedt/mvme338_c0. 

EXAMPLES

Reset the default MVME339 host adapter:

 ntx_reset

WARNINGS

Use this command with great caution.  All activity on the MVME339 board should be stopped, and no processes should be waiting on the board when this command is issued.  For instance, MVME339 ports must not be login enabled.
