NAME

hps_updconf − shell script to modify config.input for cluster configuration changes

SYNOPSIS

hps_updconf [−e]

DESCRIPTION

Hps_updconf is a shell script which will edit the cluster configuration file using the environment variable EDITOR if it exists, otherwise "vi" is used. 
 
The user should follow the instructions at the top of the edited file regarding system configuration. Once the file has been edited, the system files and a new kernel are rebuilt depending on user response to the queries.  If the −e option was specified, only the edit portion of the script is executed.

The following option may be selected:

−eSpecifies only the edit portion of the script is to be executed.
