NAME
errstop - terminate the error-logging daemon
SYNOPSIS
/etc/errstop [ namelist ]
DESCRIPTION
The error-logging daemon errdemon(1M) is terminated by using
errstop. This is accomplished by executing ps(1) to
determine the daemon's identity and then sending it a
software kill signal [see signal(2)]. /unix is used as the
system namelist if none is specified. Only the superuser
may use errstop.
