          NAME
               console - console interface

          DESCRIPTION
               The console provides the operator interface to the computer.

               The file /dev/console is the system console, and refers to
               the video adaptor and keyboard.  This special file imple-
               ments the features described in termio(7), display(7), and
               keyboard(7).
