  NAME

printmail - Formats mail for displaying

  SYNOPSIS

    printmail [-p] [filename]

  FLAGS

-p Separates the messages with a formfeed instead of a line of dashes.

  DESCRIPTION

The printmail command displays all messages from either the specified file
or the default user mailbox, with each message separated by a line of
dashes. With the -p flag, the messages are separated by a formfeed
instead of a line of dashes.

  EXAMPLES

To display all messages in the default mailbox and to place formfeeds
between messages instead of a line of dashes, enter this command:

    printmail -p

  FILES

    /usr/mail/username The user's default mailbox.

    /usr/spool/mail/username
The user's default mailbox with the Sun Elm product.

  NOTES

This command is actually a shell script that uses the readmsg command.

  DIAGNOSTICS

If a specified filename is not found, this error message appears:
    ``Cannot open folder filename''.

  EXIT VALUES

The command exits with a value of 0 if successful. If unsuccessful, the
command exits with a value of 1.
