NAME
rtc_s - Runs a remote tape control server
SYNOPSIS
/usr/lib/rtc_s
DESCRIPTION
The rtc_s command is a server for the rtc driver, started by the
xns_listener or the inetd command. The rtc_s command performs various
functions specified by the rtc driver. All functions performed by the
process using the rtc driver are transferred to rtc_s and performed on the
local tc driver. All errors returned by tc are transferred back to the
rtc driver and returned to the process using the rtc driver. Any network
errors are displayed on the console.
CAUTIONS
This command can only be started by the xns_listener or inetd.
