NAME
jbimport - Introduces a labeled optical disk cartridge to a jukebox
SYNOPSIS
/usr/bin/jbimport volume1 volume2 jukebox_id
DESCRIPTION
The jbimport command causes the mail slot of the specified jukebox to
open. When the operator inserts a platter in the slot, the Jukebox
Manager (JBM) mounts it in an optical disk drive and verifies that the two
sides are labeled as specified by the arguments volume1 and volume2.
If the volume names match, they are placed in the JBM database and the
cartridge is stored in the jukebox. If the names do not match, the volume
is ejected from the mail slot.
The jukebox_id parameter is the logical jukebox name specified in the JBM
configuration file. This name is reported by jbconfig.
EXAMPLES
To import a cartridge with a label vol_a on one side and vol_b on the
other side, into a jukebox with the logical name JB01, key in the
following command:
jbimport vol_a vol_b JB01
