NAME
printmail - Formats mail for displaying
SYNOPSIS
printmail [-p] [filename]
FLAGS
-p Separates the messages with a formfeed instead of a line of dashes.
DESCRIPTION
The printmail command displays all messages from either the specified file
or the default user mailbox, with each message separated by a line of
dashes. With the -p flag, the messages are separated by a formfeed
instead of a line of dashes.
EXAMPLES
To display all messages in the default mailbox and to place formfeeds
between messages instead of a line of dashes, enter this command:
printmail -p
FILES
/usr/mail/username The user's default mailbox.
/usr/spool/mail/username
The user's default mailbox with the Sun Elm product.
NOTES
This command is actually a shell script that uses the readmsg command.
DIAGNOSTICS
If a specified filename is not found, this error message appears:
``Cannot open folder filename''.
EXIT VALUES
The command exits with a value of 0 if successful. If unsuccessful, the
command exits with a value of 1.
