autolog

Purpose

     Performs login function automatically.

Description

     The  optional autolog  file causes  the RT  PC system  to
     perform a login sequence automatically when it contains a
     valid user name.  When power is applied to the system and
     the login  port is the  console, login searches  for this
     file.  If this file is found, login creates a session for
     a specific  user automatically.   The autolog file  is an
     ASCII  file containing  a valid  user name.   A user  can
     create this file while  customizing the system.  After it
     is created, this file can be edited using any editor.  If
     this file does not exist,  login causes the user to login
     as usual.
