msgchk
PURPOSE
Checks for messages.
SYNOPSIS
msgchk [users...][-help]
DESCRIPTION
The msgchk command is used to check mail drops for mes-
sages waiting to be received. msgchk is part of the MH
(Message Handling) package and can be used with other MH
and AIX commands.
The msgchk command checks all mail drops belonging to the
specified user IDs and reports which mail drops contain
messages that have not been received. msgchk also indi-
cates whether it appears you have already seen these mes-
sages. If you do not specify a user argument, msgchk
checks the current user's mail drops.
FLAG
-help Displays help information for the command.

$HOME/.mh_profile The MH user profile.

/usr/mail/$USER The location of the mail drop.
