logname

PURPOSE

     Displays your login name.

SYNOPSIS
     logname


DESCRIPTION

     The logname  command writes  to standard output  the name
     you used to  log into the system.  It is  the contents of
     the environment variable $LOGNAME,  which is set when you
     log into the system.
