NETPARAMS(8,C) AIX Commands Reference NETPARAMS(8,C) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- netparams PURPOSE Sets cluster networking parameters. SYNTAX /usr/bin/netparams ---| DESCRIPTION The netparams commands reads the file /etc/netparams and sets the cluster networking parameters to match those indicated in the file. The netparams command is generally run upon start-up, but may be re-run at any time. DIAGNOSTICS The netparams command generally runs silently, but may issue complaints about malformed lines if /etc/netparams is corrupted. If any of the values in /etc/netparams are out of range, a message will be issued indicating which value was in error. Permission denied may also be generated if the user is not the superuser.
