CDSHUTDOWN(8,C) AIX Commands Reference CDSHUTDOWN(8,C) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- cdshutdown PURPOSE Terminates CD-ROM server. SYNTAX /etc/shutdown --| Note: This command is for the PS/2 only. DESCRIPTION The cdshutdown command causes the local CD-ROM server to terminate, release all shared memory, and delete files. It allows a clean restart of the server daemon if necessary. The cdshutdown command should be run as part of system shutdown.
