locator



PURPOSE

Controls the sample rate of the locator.

SYNTAX


locator -- -rrate --|


Note:  This command does not have MBCS support.

DESCRIPTION

The locator command sets the per-second, rate at which the system checks the
cursor position controlled by the mouse.  You can specify any of the following
for rate:  10, 20, 40, 60, 80, or 100.  At system startup, this rate is set at
60.

Note:  You can run the locator command only from the system console (PS/2
       only).

FLAG

-rrate
     Sets the sampling rate to the specified value.

EXAMPLE

To set the locator rate to 40

  locator  -r40
