NAME

XFreeFont − unload a font and free storage for the font structure.

Arguments

displaySpecifies a connection to an X server; returned from XOpenDisplay().

font_struct
Specifies the storage associated with the font.

Description

XFreeFont() frees the memory allocated for the font_struct font information structure (XFontStruct) filled by XQueryFont() or XLoadQueryFont(). XFreeFont() frees all storage associated with the font_struct argument. Neither the data nor the font should be referenced again. The server unloads and frees the font itself if no other client has loaded it. For more information, see Volume One, Chapter 6, Drawing Graphics and Text.
