NAME
vuepath - The HP VUE Path Finder
SYNOPSIS
vuepath [options]
DESCRIPTION
Vuepath The path viewer is a utility program that application developers and online help writers can use to find the widget path of the graphical objects in an application. When vuepath is running, it displays the widget path of the widget the user clicks on after selecting "On Item" from an application Help menu. Once the widget path of an object is known, it can be used to link context-sensitive help to the graphical object.
OPTIONS
vuepath accepts the usual toolkit options.
DESCRIPTION
The Vuepath window contains two areas: From top to bottom they are:
Pulldown Menu Bar
The menu bar contains three menu buttons (File, Actions, and Help) used for accessing the menu items available within the Help Viewer window. The File menu provides an exit to the program, the Actions menu provides a method to clear the text area, and the Help menu provides the normal vuehelp items.
Text boxThis area contains scrollable text of the widget paths obtained by vuepath.
ENVIRONMENT
Vuepath may use the $DISPLAY environment variable.
