NAME

capture -  Capture a window, region, or full screen and save it in a file

SYNOPSIS

/opt/screencapture/bin/capture 

DESCRIPTION

You can use the capture command to take a picture of part or all of your screen and save it as a file.  This is also known as a window dump. 

You can capture windows with or without borders, all of your screen, or part of your screen.  This command allows you to save files in a variety of graphics formats, including uncompressed formats (such as XWD) and compressed formats (such as TIFF LZW).
