NAME
     statis - manage kernel statistics gathering

SYNOPSIS
     statis [-y facility] [-n facility] [-c facility] [-p facility] [-t]

DESCRIPTION
     statis manages the collection of various kernel performance monitoring
     statistics. Collection of kernel statistics has associated costs. In
     order to minimize the effects of performance monitoring, the statis
     command may be used to disable some of the statistics collection.

OPTIONS
     -y facility    Enables statistics gathering for facility.

     -n facility    Disables statistics gathering for facility.

     -c facility    Zeroes the facility statistics.

     -p facility    Displays the facility statistics in a raw dump format.
                    Other system status display programs provide easier to
                    use formats.

     -t             Displays all of the facilities, one per line.

DIAGNOSTICS
     Exit status is normally 0. If an error occurs, exit status is 1.

NOTES
     Some statistic facilities cannot be disabled or cleared.
