NAME
     powerdown - power down the system and change the system status.

SYNOPSIS
     powerdown

DESCRIPTION
     You can change the status of a computer using the powerdown command
     which is also available as a login with the same name. In general it
     is used to switch from multiuser status to another status.

     The command calls a visual interface. An identical function is also
     available for this purpose in the sysadm menu, i.e.:

     sysadm shutdown

DIAGNOSTICS
     The powerdown command has the following return codes.

     0 =  Task completed successfully.

     2 = Bad command syntax. A message with the correct syntax is
          displayed.

     6 = No entry in /etc/passwd. The "powerdown" user must be configured.

     7 = There is no visual interface available for this command as fmli
          cannot be called. (The FMLI package is either not installed or
          damaged.)
