NAME
     makedict - build DBM dictionary

SYNOPSIS
     makedict dbmdictionary

DESCRIPTION
     makedict reads from the standard input and generates a DBM database
     called dbmdictionary, which contains the illegal passwords for the
     passwd command. If dbmdictionary does not yet exist, it is created;
     otherwise, the entries are added to the dictionary.

     The dictionary can be read using the viewdict(1M) command.

FILES
     dbmdictionary.dir
          DBM data base containing a bit map

     dbmdictionary.pag
          DBM data base containing all data
