NAME
     users - display a compact list of users who are currently logged in

SYNOPSIS
     /usr/ucb/users [file]

     The users command lists the login names of the users currently logged
     in to the system in alphabetical order.

     Specifying file, tells users where to find its information; by default
     it checks /var/adm/utmp.

     and a total number is output.

     $ users
     george john paul ringo
