newsession(1) DG/UX B2 Security R4.12MU02 newsession(1)
NAME
newsession - create a new session
SYNOPSIS
newsession [-a] [-l macalias]
DESCRIPTION
Newsession creates another session that looks like the current
session did when it first started.
The newsession command is only available on systems with DG/UX
information security.
If the -l option is provided, newsession attempts to create the
session with a process clearance (MAC label) of macalias, if
permitted by the authorizations for the current service in the A&A
database. If it does not allow this, newsession will fail.
EXAMPLES
To start another session like the one I am running, execute:
newsession
To start another subsession like the one I am running, but at another
label, execute:
newsession -l label
