NAME
convert-elinks - modify elink file format
SYNOPSIS
convert-elinks [ option ] [ elink_path ] ...
where:
elinkpath is a pathname to an elink to modify.
DESCRIPTION
The convert-elinks command modifies the specified elink files from
both new and old form into new or old (if -o is specified) form with
a specified sde. If no elink_path arguments are supplied, all
directories where elinks supplied with DG/UX are scanned and all
discovered elinks are converted.
Options are:
-e defaultsde
Use the argument as the default sde for all modified elinks.
The name "dg" is assumed if omitted.
-o Convert elinks to old style.
-s Suppress the warning message given if a supplied elink_path is
not an elink.
-u usrprefix
If supplied, the argument is prefixed to all absolute pathnmes
that are internal to the command. This is not applied to
elink_path arguments. If not supplied usr_prefix defaults to
either $USR if defined or "/usr".
-v Print the paths of converted elinks to stdout.
EXAMPLES
# convert-elinks
The above invocation converts all elinks.
