dtl(1) SDK R4.11 dtl(1)

NAME
       dtl - DWARF-to-legend translator

SYNOPSIS
       dtl [ option ] filename

DESCRIPTION
The dtl command translates the debugging information stored inside an
ELF relocatable object file from DWARF format to legend format.
       Normally, dtl is invoked automatically by the compiler (via as(1));
consult the man page for your compiler to see if it does this.

Dtl accepts options both on the command line, and from the LEGENDS
environment variable. In cases of conflicting options, command line
options override LEGENDS options, then option precedence is from
right to left (with right-most options having the highest
       precedence).

All the supported dtl options are described by the legend(5) manual
page. In addition, options supported by ctl(1) are accepted and
       ignored.

FILES
       file.o ELF relocatable object file
       file.lg optional debugging information file
