NSR_SHUTDOWN(8) Legato NetWorker 4.0 NSR_SHUTDOWN(8)

NAME
       nsr_shutdown - stop a NetWorker server's processes

SYNOPSIS
       nsrshutdown [ -a ] [ -d ] [ -n ] [ -q ] [ -r ] [ -s ] [ -v ]

DESCRIPTION
nsrshutdown kills NetWorker processes on a NetWorker server. This
command is simpler than the procedure of using ps(1), grep(1), and
       kill(1).

OPTIONS
-a Kill all daemons; this is the same as using the -d, -r, and -s
              options.

-d This is the default option; it kills the server daemons.
              These may include nsrd(8), nsrindexd(8), nsrexecd(8), nsr
              mmd(8), and nsrmmdbd(8). Since savegroup(8) processes depend
on the service daemons, they are also killed.

-n Not really. Echoes the kill command without actually invoking
              it.

-q Perform the shutdown quietly; don't prompt for confirmation.

-r Kill all of the resource administration platform (RAP) dae
              mons. See rapd(8).

       -s Kill any savegroup(8) processes.

-v Verbose: Instruct the shell to print commands and their argu
              ments as they are executed.
