NAME
llcd - IEEE 802.2 Logical Link Control Daemon

setupllcparams - Add devices to the LLC list

SYNOPSIS
       llcd device-list

       setupllcparams device-list

   where:
       device-list
Is a list of any network devices (inen?, hken?, dgen?, cien?,
              vitr?)

DESCRIPTION
The llcd command starts the IEEE 802.2 service over all of drivers
listed on the command line. This is normally done automatically when
the system changes INIT levels, but can be issued manually by the
superuser from the command line. Error's are logged to the console
       and also to /etc/log/llcd.log.

The setupllcparams command is used to add devices to the list of
those that will be started automatically when changing INIT levels.
This list is kept in /etc/dgux.params.

EXAMPLES
To start IEEE 802.2 services using the network controlers:
       /dev/cien0, /dev/cien1 and /dev/vitr0:

            llcd cien0 cien1 vitr0

To add /dev/vitr0 to the list of devices started automatically when
       changing INIT levels:

            setupllcparams vitr0

DIAGNOSTICS
Many of llcd's error messages can be reduced to "check all connecĀ
       tions".

FILES
/dev/llc Name of the llc device.
       /etc/log/llcd.log Log file for llcd.
