       nsrmmd - NetWorker Media Multiplexor Daemon

SYNOPSIS
       nsrmmd -n number

DESCRIPTION
       The nsrmmd daemon provides an RPC-based media multiplexing service to
       the local nsrd(8) daemon.  The only intended client of nsrmmd is
       nsrd.  The RPC program and version numbers provided by nsrmmd are
       390104 and 4, respectively.  However, to support multiple instances
       of the protocol (if the Multiple Simultaneous Device feature is
       enabled), the version numbers used have the daemon number times one
       hundred added to them.  The daemon numbers always start at one, so
       the first version registered will be 104, then 204, and so on.  The
       proper number of nsrmmds are started automatically by nsrd.  To
       change the number of daemons, update the value of the active devices
       attribute of the NSR resource.
