       sync - obsolete command

SYNOPSIS
       sync

DESCRIPTION
       The sync command no longer does anything. Prior to DG/UX 5.4, the
       command flushed buffers to disk. Since DG/UX 5.4, the kernel
       automatically flushes memory buffers at MAXBUFAGE intervals.
