NAME
       admreleasemedium - manage software release media.

SYNOPSIS
       admreleasemedium -o copy -d destination releasemedium

       admreleasemedium -o create -p packagename -r releasearea
              releasemedium

       admreleasemedium -o list [ -qvR ] releasemedium

DESCRIPTION
       The admreleasemedium command is used to create, manipulate, and
       examine DG/UX software release media.  A software release media
       contains a table of contents and one or more packages which make up
       the release.  See admpackage(1M) and admrelease(1M).

   Operations
       copy      Copy a software release from one releasemedium to another.
                 The releasemedium and destination may be either tapes or
                 directories or one of each.

       create    Create a DG/UX software release on the provided
                 releasemedium.  This command uses the release area
                 specifed by releasearea.  This release area must be setup
                 as outlined in Chapter 12 of the Porting and Developing
                 Applications on the DG/UX System.

       list      List to the standard output the packages which exist on the
                 specified releasemedium.

   Options
       -d destination
                 Copy the software release is to the indicated destination.
                 This must be the name of a tape device or directory.

       -p packagename
                 The name associated with the software packages in the
                 release.  Examples of package names are "dgux" and "tcpip."

       -r releasearea
                 A directory containing a software release area, as defined
                 in Chapter 12 of the Porting and Developing Applications on
                 the DG/UX System.

       -q        Quiet.  Print minimal information about the files on the
                 releasemedium.

       -v        Verbose. Print detailed information about packages in the
                 releasemedium.

       -R        Print release information for the releasemedium itself in
                 addition to information about the files on the
                 releasemedium.

   Exit Codes
        0     The operation was successful.

        1     The operation was unsuccessful.

        2     The operation failed due to access restrictions.

        3     The operation failed due to an error in the command line.
