          gethostid - Get unique identifier of current host.

     SYNOPSIS
          long gethostid ( )

     PARAMETERS

     DESCRIPTION
          Gethostid returns the 32-bit identifier for the host system.

          Calling gethostid before calling sethostid produces
          undefined results.

     ACCESS CONTROL
          None. (Call always succeeds.)

          <hostid>       Completed successfully.
