     NAME
          dghost, m68k, m88k, i386, pdp11, u3b, u3b5, vax - provide
          truth value about your processor type

     SYNOPSIS
          dghost

     DESCRIPTION
          The following commands will return a true value (exit code
          of 0) if you are on a processor that the command name
          indicates.

               dghost   True if you are on a Data General MV-series
                        computer.

               m68k     True if you are on an M68000-based computer

               m88k     True if you are on an M88000-based computer

               i386     True if you are on a 386-based Data General
                        computer

               pdp11   True if you are on a PDP-11/45 or PDP-11/70.

               u3b     True if you are on a 3B 20S computer.

               u3b5    True if you are on a 3B 5 computer.

               vax     True if you are on a VAX-11/750 or VAX-11/780.

          The commands that do not apply will return a false (non-
          zero) value.  These commands are often used within make(1)
          makefiles and shell procedures to increase portability.

     EXAMPLES
          $ m88k

          An exit code of 0 is returned if the statement is true.
