SYNTAX
/etc/devnm [ name ... ]
DESCRIPTION
Devnm identifies the special file associated with the mounted
file system where the argument name resides. Argument names must
be full pathnames.
This command is most commonly used by /etc/init.d/chk.fsck (see
brc(1m)) to construct a mount table entry for the root device.
EXAMPLE
In the DG/UX System the command:
/etc/devnm /usr
produces
dsk/usr
if /dev/dsk/usr is mounted as /usr.
FILES
/dev/dsk/*
/etc/mnttab
