    SHOW PROTOCOL protocol_type /CONTINUOUS [=seconds]

PROXY

The SHOW PROXY command displays information concerning the VMS
accounts that are used by Ultrix clients using the UCX software.
Refer to the ADD PROXY command for a description of Ultrix to VMS
authorization. Further information on this subject can be found
  in the NFS Functional Specification.

The vms_account is an account name found in the VMSUAF file.

If the VMS_account is not specified, then information will be
displayed for all proxy VMS accounts.

If the NFS server is active, it will be queried for each entry in
the UCX$PROXY database in order to determine if it exists in the
  NFS authorization cache.

  Format:
    SHOW PROXY [VMS_account]

Additional information available:

/GID/HOST/FULL/PERMANENT/OUTPUT/UID

/GID

Specifies the ULTRIX GID of the client for which information is to
be displayed. If this qualifier is not specified, then information
will be given for all clients.

  Format:
    SHOW PROXY [VMS_account] /GID=gid

/HOST

Specifies the ULTRIX host from which information is to be
displayed. If this qualifier is not specified, then information
will be given for all hosts.

  Format:
    SHOW PROXY [VMS_account] /HOST=[host_name_list]

Additional information available:

Examples

Examples

For example, to show all VMS accounts for which any client from host
  GOLDEN has authorization, issue the command;

             SHOW PROXY /HOST=GOLDEN

/FULL

Displays an indicator with each UCX$PROXY entry if it also exists in
  the NFS dynamic database.

  Format:
    SHOW PROXY /FULL

/PERMANENT

The action of the SHOW PROXY command changes depending on the state of
the NFS server. If the server is active then the default action is
to query it for each entry in the UCX$PROXY database. If the entry is
known to NFS, then a "*" character is displayed with the entry.

The /PERMANENT qualifier is used to disable the query to NFS when it
  is active.

The NFS cache may be a subset of the UCX$PROXY database. The only
cases where these databases may not the same are:

    1. ADD PROXY /PERMANENT was used while the NFS server was active

    2. There was a problem in communication between UCX$UCP and the
NFS server during an ADD PROXY operation.

    3. The UCX$PROXY logical name was modified after NFS initialized.

  Format:
   SHOW PROXY /PERMANENT

/OUTPUT

This qualifier is used to direct output to a file instead of your
  terminal's display.

  Format:
    SHOW PROXY /OUTPUT=file_name

/UID

Specifies the ULTRIX UID of the client for which information is to
be displayed. If this qualifier is not specified, then information
will be given for all clients.

  Format:
    SHOW PROXY [VMS_account] /UID=uid

ROUTE

The SHOW ROUTE command is used to display both static and dynamic
routing information. If the Internet software is not active, or the
/PERMANENT qualifier is used, the display will be limited to
routes defined via the SET ROUTE command.

If the Internet is active, the SHOW ROUTE will display the contents
  of the dynamic routing tables.

  Format:
    SHOW ROUTE [destination]

For UCX V1.3 and later releases:
    1. The destination parameter may take a name or an address as
        a value.

    2. The /GATEWAY qualifier may take a name or an address as a
        value.

Additional information available:

/ADDRESS/FULL/G_ADDRESS/GATEWAY/OUTPUT/PERMANENT

/ADDRESS

Specifies the destination internet address. This may be the address
of either a host or a network. UCX will determine whether this
address is for a host or network.

  Format:
    SHOW ROUTE /ADDRESS=internet_address

For UCX V1.3 and later releases, this qualifier is not necessary.

/FULL

Specifies that the association of: destination name and address, and
gateway name and address is to be displayed. A prefix of "*" on the
the Internet address means that the route was specified by address
  instead of by name.

If a host is multi-homed, and the Internet software is not active,
then the Internet address for the named host will not be resolved.
In this case, the address is displayed as "?".

/G_ADDRESS

Specifies the gateway internet address. Use either the /G_ADDRESS
or /GATEWAY to identify the gateway host.

  Format:
    SHOW ROUTE [destination_name] /G_ADDRESS=internet_address

For UCX V1.3 and later releases, this qualifier is not necessary.

/GATEWAY

Specifies the gateway host name or address. If a name is specified, it
must first have been defined in the HOST database.

  Format:
SHOW ROUTE [destination] /GATEWAY=gateway name or address

/OUTPUT

This qualifier is used to direct output to a file instead of your
  terminal's display.

  Format:
    SHOW ROUTE /OUTPUT=file_name

/PERMANENT

This qualifier is used to limit the display to static routes defined
  via the SET ROUTE command.
