Additional information available:
SQL92
Specifies that the DATE and CURRENT_TIMESTAMP data types are interpreted as SQL92 format. The SQL92 format DATE contains only the YEAR to DAY fields.
VMS
Specifies that the DATE and CURRENT_TIMESTAMP data types are interpreted as VMS format. A VMS format data type is compatible with Rdb/ELN and versions of Rdb/VMS prior to Version 4.1, but cannot be used in date-time arithmetic. The VMS format DATE and CURRENT_TIMESTAMP contain YEAR to SECOND fields. The default is VMS.
