 Divides the current window into two or more windows.

 Format

     SPLIT WINDOW  [window-count]

=TITLE Parameter

window-count
 Specifies the number of windows to create. The maximum
 size of a window depends on the size and type of the
 terminal screen you are using. The minimum size is one
 line of text and one line for the status line.

 The text cursor appears in the lowest of the new
 windows.
