The BACKUP statement is obsolete in Rdb/VMS V3.0.  The EXPORT
 statement replaces the RDO BACKUP statement.  The BACKUP statement is
 maintained for compatibility with applications that used previous
 versions of Rdb/VMS.  However, DIGITAL recommends you use the EXPORT
 statement instead of the BACKUP statement.
