Name

iinamu − displays information about and manages different types of ULTRIX/SQL servers and starts and stops the name server

Syntax

iinamu

Description

The iinamu utility monitors and manages the ULTRIX/SQL name server and displays information about and manages database management system and communications servers.

The commands that you can enter at the iinamu command line include:

LIST List the server types and their numbers. 

START Start the name server. 

STOP Stop the name server. 

SHOW Display a list of registered servers. 

ADD Add a server to the list of registered servers. 

DEL Delete a server from the list of registered servers. 

HELP Display information about the preceding commands. 

EXIT Quit the utility and return to the shell. 

Only the ULTRIX/SQL system administrator can use iinamu to add or delete server entries or to start or stop the name server process.
