Name
ftamd − invokes an FTAM responder
Syntax
/usr/sbin/ftamd [−T trace-file] [−D] alias
Description
The /usr/sbin/ftamd command starts up an FTAM responder for the specified alias. You can specify that a trace file be created for one inbound connection.
Options
−D Use this option when invoking a single standalone instance of the FTAM Responder (i.e. when the responder is not invoked via the ftam_listener.)
−T trace-file
Specifies that a trace file be created with the indicated file name. You must use the ositrace command to analyze this trace file.
alias Can be either an alias which is associated with an address listed in the /etc/isoapplications file, or an X.500 Distinguished Name.
Restrictions
You can only trace the responder across one inbound connection.
